Privacy Policy

NoN professional (“we”, “us”) is a novelty entertainment app: you take a selfie and get a satirical, AI-generated “career & probability diagnosis.” This page explains what data the app touches, why, who else sees it, and the choices/rights you have — including under the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.

Your photo

The app has two analysis tiers, and they handle your photo very differently:

• Free diagnosis: your photo is analyzed entirely on your own device, in your browser. It is never uploaded to our servers or any third party, and it is never stored — the app only keeps a small locally-cached result (in your browser’s local storage) so re-analyzing the same photo doesn’t redo the work.
• Deep AI Analysis (paid): your photo is sent to our server, which forwards it once to a third-party AI service to generate the analysis. We do not save a copy of the photo on our servers — it’s used for that single request and discarded. It is not used to identify you, and it is not used for facial recognition.

Account & purchase data

To track free/paid analysis credits, the app signs you in anonymously — this creates a random ID with no name, email, or profile attached. We store that anonymous ID together with your credit balance. We do not collect your email address ourselves; if you purchase credits, the email you provide during checkout goes directly to our payment processor, described below.

If you buy credits, checkout is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. Your payment details (card number, billing address, email) are entered directly into their checkout and never pass through our servers. After a purchase, we receive only the order status and which pack you bought, so we know to add credits to your anonymous balance. Lemon Squeezy processes that information under its own privacy policy, available at lemonsqueezy.com/privacy.

Cookies & similar technologies

We don’t run our own first-party analytics or tracking cookies. The app may display ads served by Google AdSense, which sets its own cookies (see below). Our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, may also set cookies during checkout to process your payment securely. Your consent choice and locally-cached results are stored using your browser’s local storage, not cookies, and never leave your device.

Advertising

The app may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology on this site to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or generally at aboutads.info.

What we don't do

We don’t sell your data. We don’t run facial recognition or try to identify who you are. We don’t send push notifications, and the app doesn’t track you across other sites beyond the standard AdSense advertising cookies described above.

International data transfers

Our servers and the third-party AI and payment providers we use may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Your rights (GDPR/CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal data we hold about you and why;
• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data;
• Object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent;
• Request a portable copy of your data;
• Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA);
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Because we only hold an anonymous ID and a credit balance (no name, email, or profile), most requests can be resolved by simply clearing your browser’s local storage, which disconnects you from that anonymous ID. To ask about, or request deletion of, any data tied to a specific anonymous account, contact us below and we will do what we reasonably can to locate and act on it.

Children's privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Data retention

We retain your anonymous ID and credit balance for as long as needed to provide the credit system. Photos sent for Deep AI Analysis are not retained after the request completes.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. We’ll update the “last updated” date above when we do.
